Teams

  1. Teams are groups of people that collaborate on work on various Projects or Programs here at Omni
  2. Are made up of Channels

Channels

  1. Individual rooms that make up the entire Team
  2. Built around a topic, such as, announcements, department names, or just for conversation
  3. This is where you would attend meetings, ask questions during Production, and collaborate or share files while on the job
  4. Contains tabs that will contain Files, Apps, and Services
    1. Please note these tabs within your Channels will vary from Project to Project
  5. If you have numerous Channels you may Pin the most important Channels for quick access

Gig-O-Bytes

    1. A specific Channel within your Team that will contain important announcements or updates for your Project
      1. These do vary from Project to Project

Threads

  1. These are used to start a new conversation or ask a question
  2. Questions that have been addressed or resolved will be marked with a Thumbs Up reaction

Comments

  1. Hit reply in your original thread to keep comments and replies together
  2. These are used to reply to your conversation thread or question
