What cord should I use to plug my monitor into the Zero Client Device?
The Zero Client HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 ports are called Micro HDMI.
To connect your monitor to the Zero Client, you will need to purchase a cord called Micro HDMI to (whatever type of port your monitor uses). Your monitor uses one of these common ports:
Example 1: If your monitor uses a VGA port, you would need to purchase a cord called VGA to Micro HDMI.
Example 2: If your monitor uses a HDMI port, you would need to purchase a cord called HDMI to Micro HDMI.
Note: If you want to use Dual Monitors, you will need to buy two cords. The cords would need to match your monitor.
Can I use an adaptor for my monitor instead of a regular cord?
If you use an adapter for your monitor and it works with the zero client device, you can use it. If you have any issues, you will need to the correct cord as mentioned above. DESD will not be able to troubleshoot if you are using an adapter.
Can I use Wireless/Bluetooth for my headset, keyboard, and/or mouse?
No. Wireless/Bluetooth is not allowed. Below are some known headsets that GBA's have reported as working for the Zero Client Device
Can I use an audio jack for my headset?
No. Your headset must be plugged into one of the USB ports. You CANNOT use an audio jack.
Can I plug my laptop into the Zero Client Device and use it as a keyboard/mouse/or secondary monitor?
No.
Can I just use Wifi and not an ethernet cord?
No. You must use an ethernet cord.
