 Windows 10 End of Life

               As of October 14, 2025 Microsoft announced they will no longer support Windows 10. They then decided that they would allow consumers to pay for an extra year of Windows updates that extended Windows 10 life. Currently, there have been talks of Microsoft allowing an other year of extended updates to Windows 10.


Omni SRW will no longer support Windows 10 extended updates even if a second year is purchased as of September 15th, 2026. 

 Windows 11 will be required to maintain an active contract with Omni. 


Options on this issue include: 

*Upgrading your current PC to Windows 11 (Only certain processors support Windows 11, and you would need to contact Microsoft to see if yours qualifies)
*If your processor doesn't support Windows 11, you would want to contact your PCs manufacturer to see if the processor on your PC can be upgraded to one that supports Windows 11. 
*If you cannot upgrade to Windows 11, or upgrade your PCs hardware to support Windows 11, you will need to purchase a new or new to you PC that can support Windows 11 you can find a PC that is right for you here.
