Windows 10 End of Life
As of October 14, 2025, they will no longer provide security updates, patches or technical assistance for the Windows 10 operating system. What this means for you is that while your Windows 10 PC will continue to function, it will no longer receive regular security updates, making the device more vulnerable and susceptible to viruses and malware. Windows 10 PCs may also experience slower performance and functionality across the device and applications.
Windows 11 will be required to maintain an active contract with Omni. Please refer to Page 18 of the Master Services Agreement/Acceptable Use Appendix, Section “Omni Technical Support.”
To stay safe and protected, your options are:
If your PC is eligible, upgrade to Windows for free via Settings > Privacy and Security > Windows Update.
If your PC isn’t eligible or you’re ready for a new device, consider purchasing a Windows 11 PC. Find a PC that is right for you here.
If you need more time, a one-year Extended Security Updates (ESU) program is available on eligible Windows 10 PCs. Learn more.
To check the Windows version you are currently running, please follow the instructions outlined below for you. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our DESD department. You can reach them through the Gig-O-Bot or by sending an email to techsupport@oiteam.com.
