Jump On-Jump Off Using the Bot

This article will provide information on how to jump on or jump off for a shift. 



Jumping On for a Shift

Step 1: Visit Omnipedia

Click on the hyperlink above or visit the web address: https://omniinteractions.zohodesk.com/portal/en/kb/it-support-desk to be directed to Omnipedia. 


Step 2: Click on Gig-O-Bot

Click on Gig-O-Bot's chat icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
 

Step 3: Click Time Adjustments/Scheduling

Once Gig-O-Bot pops out with the options; click on the Time Adjustments/Scheduling option. 
 

Step 4: Select Jump On

Once Gig-O-Bot's new set of options populate click on the Jump On option. (Or Jump Off if you are scheduling Jump Off time.)
 

Step 5: Select Your Program

Select your Program you are working on.  You may have to scroll up or down through Gig-O-Bot to see this option.
 

Step 6: Select Line of Business

Some projects have multiple lines of business. For example, FIS or SBSEG. If your program has multiple lines of business, this is where you will select the line of business you work on. This option will only show if your program does have multiple lines of business. 
 

Step 7: Verify your Program

Verify that the correct program and line of business (if applies) are correct.
 

Step 8: Enter your Approver

Type in the first and last name or Omni Email of the person who is approving your jump on. 
 

Step 9: Enter Your Omni Email

If you are not signed into Omnipedia, Gig-O-Bot will ask for your Omni GBA email to verify your information. Please enter your Omni GBA Email and NOT a personal email address or client email address. . 
 

Step 10: Select Jump On Time

Click the 'jump on time' hyperlink through Gig-O-Bot, then on the calendar that pops up select the time and date you would like to jump on (or off) for your shift. 
 

Step 11: Select Log Off Time

After you have selected your jump on time, click on the 'Log off time' Hyperlink through Gig-O-Bot and select the time that you would like to end your jump on time. 
 

Step 12: Confirm Jump On

Gig-O-Bot will ask if the information that you have entered is correct. Read this information thoroughly and if it is correct select the 'Confirm' option to confirm your jump on (or off) times. If incorrect, select the option that you need to update. 
 



Important Jump On Notes:

If there are issues with the information you have provided to Gig-O-Bot; Gig-O-Bot will let you know about an issue and you may need to escalate your jump on (or off) time to be reviewed or approved. If this is the case, you may not be able to jump on (or off) as this review or approval process does take up to 48 business hours to be approved.
