Zero Client - Freezing Issue
If your zero client devices freezes up in the middle of the call, please do the following:
- Push and hold for 2-3 seconds to shut down the device (This should only be done if the Zero client is frozen so not to create internal damage.)
- Verify all your cords are plugged in tightly and try again.
- Power down the Zero client, unplug your ethernet cord from it, and plug it into your personal computer. On your personal computer, navigate to speedtest.net and verify your speeds download speed is more than 10Mbps and your download is more than 5Mbps. You will also want to see that the three ping numbers are all lower than 100 (the lower the better for these three numbers). If your speed is lower than you were expecting, or the pings are higher than 100, power cycle your modem/router (Unplug it from power for 60 seconds and plug it back in). Wait another 2-3 minutes for your internet to boot back up, then test again. If your speed is still low or pings are still too high, contact your internet service provider.
Below is an example of what your speed test should look like:

- If your internet speeds look good, go back to your device plug your ethernet cord back in securely and turn it on. (Additionally, it is helpful to limit the number of people/devices that are using the internet while you are working)

We will also need this information:

- Did you try a different server and if so did you have the same issue?
DESD is happy to help!
