Split Screen Windows
Below is a description of how to set up multiple windows or applications using the split-screen features in Windows 10:
- Click and hold the title bar of the window/application you wish to snap.
- Drag the window/application to the left or right of your screen until your mouse cursor disappears and an outline of the window/application appears covering half of the screen where you wish the pin the window/application.
- Release the cursor to pin the window/application to the selected half of the screen.
- A selection of active window/applications will appear on the left side of your screen, select a window/application to pin to the left side of the screen.
Multi-split Screen Windows
Below is a description of how to set up multiple windows or applications using the multi-split screen features in Windows 10:
- Click and hold the title bar of the window/application you want to snap.
- Drag the window/application to a location on your screen until an outline of the window/application appears covering the location of the screen where you wish to pin the window/application.
- Release the cursor to pin the window/application to the selected location of the screen.
- Repeat steps 1-3 using a window/application to pin to another location of your screen.
- A selection of active windows/applications will appear on the adjacent side of your screen if at least two windows/applications are pinned to the same side of your screen.
