Sharing During Meetings

In this article, you will find instructions on how to share you screen during Microsoft Teams meetings. 

In Microsoft Teams, you can show your desktop, a specific app, a whiteboard, or a presentation in a meeting.

Instructions

Step 1: Share Content

While in a MS Teams meeting, click on the Share Content Icon in the upper right corner.


Step 2: What to Share

Select what you want to share by clicking on the window image:
  1. Screen lets you share everything on your screen.
  2. Window lets you share an open window like a specific app you have open.
  3. PowerPoint Live lets you share a PowerPoint presentation.
  4. Microsoft Whiteboard and Freehand by Invision (if available) lets you share a whiteboard where participants can sketch/brainstorm together.


Step 3: Red Border

After you select what you want to show, a red border surrounds what you're sharing.


Step 4: Stop Sharing

To stop sharing, simply click Stop Sharing in the upper right corner.
