Omni SRW - First Time Login (Do Not install this SRW if your client does not use Omni SRW)


Below are the steps to help you log in to the Secure Remote Worker software. Please note that not all applications use Omni Secure Remote Worker. If you’re unsure, reach out to your Omni point of contact via Teams to request the appropriate link for your Secure Remote Worker software.

1 Please complete all windows updates, security scan, and disconnecting from Wifi. Please see this article to assist you.

2 Click on this link: https://prd6253820600.cloud.thinscale.io/sci/YFXwhy5d or copy and paste URL and hit enter.



3 Click Submit



4 Click Save (if asked)

5 In the upper right corner when downloads pops up, click on the Thinscale installer




6 User Account Control Prompt will Pop up Click Yes to install.



7 Let it run. The Install Will Start





8 Click Reboot this will restart your PC






9 Double click on Omni Secure Remote Worker software icon to launch



10 Wait for things to get ready





11. Sign In With your Omni user name and password



12 Approve the Sign in on your MFA app




13 Wait for verification of your credentials


14 Make sure Both Profiles are Selected and click Select


15 Wait for Activation 






16 Your computer will go through a series of compliance checks. You will need to pass each check before you can get into Secure Desktop. 17 Wait for Virtual disk downloads


18 Wait for software package updates

19 Install Software Updates



20 Click Logout this will start the launch process for SRW and take you away from your personal desktop. 



21 Click Install to install Windows app updates.


22 Wait for SRW to start


23 If Windows App doesn't Auto Launch click Windows app to launch (Please note if you need to change any settings it is done from this screen)

24 Click Sign In


25 Sign into the Windows app with your Omni user name and password 



26 Click Devices




27 Click On a server to launch



28 Click OK



29 The desktop will load. You are logged in!
