Guatemala - How will I get paid through my Deel Account?

Before you begin, make sure you´ve already verified your account.

Supported withdrawal methods.

  1. Bank transfer
  2. Instant Card transfer
  3. Deel Card
  4. Coinbase
  5. Payoneer
  6. Wise
  7. Binance
  8. Paypal
  9. Revolut
Keep in mind that not all of these methods allow you to withdraw physical money in Guatemala.

Add a new withdrawal method.

Step 1. Add a new saved withdrawal method.

Select the (1) Withdrawal Methods tab on your Home Page and click (2) Add Method.


Step 2. Choose a withdrawal method

Please note that not all withdrawal methods are available in all jurisdictions. Follow the on-screen prompts to add your withdrawal account details. In some cases you may be redirected to the payroll provider in order to complete the setup.

Your billing address must match the address of your withdrawal methods account. Different addresses may result in your withdrawal being delayed or returned to Deel.



Setting up Automatic Withdrawal

With Automatic Withdrawal enabled, your Deel balance will automatically be paid out using your Preferred Withdrawal method. You can set up Automatic Withdrawals and change your Preferred Withdrawal methods from the Withdrawal Methods tab inside the Account Settings menu.

Step 1. Choose a preferred withdrawal method

Click the withdrawal method you want to choose as your preferred method to open the withdrawal options menu. Toggle-on Preferred Method.



Step 2. Enable Automatic Withdrawal

When your client pays you your Deel balance will automatically be withdrawn using your preferred withdrawal method. Please note if you only have one withdrawal method set up, this is your preferred method by default.


Withdrawing funds from your Deel balance

Your Deel balance will be updated each time your client pays you. If you don´t have automatic withdrawal enabled, you will need to withdraw your funds manually.

Step 1. Click withdraw

When you log into Deel you will land on the homepage of the dashboard. If you aren't there already, select Home from the navigation menu.

Step 2. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw

The default amount is your entire available balance. You can enter a different amount. You can even split your balance between different withdrawal methods!

Step 3. Choose your withdrawal method and click Withdraw

Withdrawal fees may apply depending on the method you've selected. Some withdrawal methods have a minimum withdrawal amount.

Your billing address must match the address of your withdrawal methods account. Different addresses may result in your withdrawal being delayed or returned to Deel.


When will my withdrawal arrive?

Your withdrawal ETA will always depend on the withdrawal method, as different methods have specific clearing times.
  1. Deel Card: instant
  2. Deel Instant Card Transfer: instant
  3. Wallets, including Binance, Coinbase, Paypal, Payoneer, and Revolut: up to one business day
  4. Local e-wallets, such as Gcash that go through local banks: one to five business days
  5. Local Bank Transfer: one to five business days
  6. Bank Transfers via SWIFT: five to seven business days
  7. Bank Transfers to Russia via SWIFT: 10 days
These transfer times are only estimates and may be impacted by additional reviews or requests for information at the discretion of the payment providers.

Please note that most payment providers, especially banks, do not process payments on weekends and public holidays.

How much do I pay for withdrawals?

The cost of withdrawals depends on the method selection. Transaction and exchange fees may also apply.

  1. Local Bank Transfers: $0 USD
  2. International Transfers / SWIFT: $5 USD
  3. Deel Instant Card Transfer - 2.5% fee (minimum $0.25)
  4. Binance - 1.6% (minimum $5 USD)
  5. Coinbase: 1.5% (flat fee of $5 USD for USDC withdrawals under $300)
  6. PayPal: 2.5% (minimum $0.25 USD)
  7. Payoneer: 1% (minimum $12 USD)
  8. Revolut: $0 USD
  9. Wise (formerly TransferWise): $0 USD
  10. Deel Card: $0 USD
Note: Withdrawals via local bank transfer may be subject to a separate provider fee in some currencies

SWIFT withdrawals are supported in some countries and currencies. This withdrawal method may use multiple intermediary banks to process payments and may result in unpredictable processing fees. Unfortunately neither Deel nor your own bank can predict these fees.

These fees may be deducted from the final received amount and Deel cannot control or predict them.
