MFA - Granting Location Permissions to Microsoft Authenticator

As part of our ongoing security policies, we are implementing a new authorization process for our Omni tools such as Humanity, Bright Pattern, Omni Zimbra, Microsoft Teams, and Omni Help Center.
What does that mean for you?  You will now be required to have the Microsoft Authenticator App installed on your phone and linked to your Omni account.
This article will contain and demonstrate the steps and procedures of granting location permissions on an IOS or Android device through a video.
If you would prefer to follow the steps at your own pace, please follow the steps below.

Granting Location Permissions to Authenticator

Step 1: Navigate to your phone's Settings menu.

Step 2: Search for the Microsoft Authenticator App through your mobile device's settings menu.

Step 3: Select the Permissions option for the Authenticator application in your Android Device and Location in your IOS device.

Step 4: Select the Location permission within your android device for the Authenticator app.

Step 5: Ensure that location permissions are always set to Allow all the time on your Android device and Always on your IOS device. You will also want to ensure that the precise location toggle is set to On for both devices.

Step 6: You will receive this notification when accessing or logging into Omni Tools on your PC. This will indicate that you will have to open the Authenticator application on your mobile device to approve the login.

Step 7: Approve the MFA Push through your mobile device.

Step 8: If you do not approve the login in the MFA application promptly, you will see this notification on your PC screen. Click on the Send another request to my Microsoft Authenticator app to receive a new MFA push.
