CNX Intuit Registry Key Installation

Intuit has updated its security process. Everyone who has access to Intuit systems (Salesforce, Slack, etc.) must add a registry key to their computer. This is a virtual fingerprint that allows Intuit to identify that the device being used is approved to access their systems. This is device-specific, so if you use a desktop sometimes and a laptop other times, you will need to install this on both devices. Follow the steps below to ensure successful installation.

Direct Download

These instructions will include the steps to directly download the Registry Key from this article:
  1. Download the Application

  2. Allow the Application to make changes and complete the install
  3. A message should pop up saying "This action has been completed successfully". You should now have the Registry Key successfully installed.

Gig-O-Bot 2.0 Download

These instructions will include the steps to download the Intuit Registry Key from Gig-O-Bot 2.0. Follow the instructions below as needed.
  1. Go to Gig-O-Bot 2.0
  2. Select "CNX Intuit Tools" then select "CNX Intuit Key"
  3. You will then click on the link Gig-O-Bot provides to install the Registry Key

  4. A file will then download to your computer. Once downloaded, click on the file to open it up.
  5. When asked if you want to all the Application to make changes select the "Yes" option
  6. Once the Application has successfully downloaded you should see a pop up saying "This action completed successfully" That is it you are now complete!
