Changing Your Phone Number or Mobile Device/ Lost Mobile Device

This article will help you with changing your phone number on the Microsoft Authenticator App, adding MFA to a new mobile device, and what to so incase you lost your mobile device. 



You will need to update your contact information and set up MFA on your new device if:
  1. You have lost your mobile device.
  2. You switched to a new mobile device.
  3. Your phone number changed.

Lost Mobile Device

In the event that your mobile device is lost, you will need to submit a ticket to DESD to let them know that you need your MFA reset due to lost mobile device. To do this, go to Omnipedia and create a ticket with Gig-O-Bot by choosing DESD-Tech Support. Follow the prompts to submit your ticket.
