This article will help you change your phone number in the Microsoft Authenticator App, add MFA to a new mobile device, and explain what to do if you lose your mobile device.
You will need to update your contact information and set up MFA on your new device if:
- You have lost your mobile device.
- You switched to a new mobile device.
- Your mobile device has been stolen.
- Your phone number changed.
Lost Mobile Device
If your mobile device is lost or you've changed it and haven't updated the sign-in option in your Account, submit a ticket to DESD to request an MFA reset. DESD will then reset your MFA. To do this, you have the option to:
